Klanging Banging presented work from emerging artists of four new pieces of publicly sited sound art around Neville Street and Holbeck Urban Village. Junction by Stuart Childs and Chris Martin at Outpost, located on the Granary Wharf canal side beside Isis Waterside Regeneration’s marketing suite, inspired by the history of the area across the centuries through sound highlighting its busy industrial past to our present time and evolution of digital and knowledge industries. Tom Cooksons piece Urban Birdsong draws parallels between the sounds of city and traffic and nature.
